Jimmie von Tungeln lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is an almost retired urban planner and a columnist for a monthly magazine. He served in the United States Navy and is a Vietnam War veteran. He is currently a board member of Little Rock’s MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. He also served on the Little Rock Planning Commission and the Little Rock City Beautiful Commission, including two terms as Chair.

He has been writing for the past 20 years and The Charmed Time is his first novel. He is now working on a sequel.
